Marvin McCall is a NANA shareholder and NMS team member. He grew up in Kotzebue and moved to Anchorage to pursue his marketing degree at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Marvin started at NMS as a marketing intern and has since been promoted to Social Media Communications Specialist. He’s part of the Food and Facilities Management divisional marketing team, where he designs, writes, and publishes content for clients like Diné College, the K-12 school districts, and his alma mater, UAA.
Some of Marvin’s favorite projects are the social media promotions for student meals on campus. It’s an opportunity for him to have creative freedom with design and copy – bringing humor to the message. Marvin also supports rebranding projects on campus, like the newly branded Café Delgga.
Before his time as a marketer at NMS, Marvin worked in several positions at Red Dog Mine. The mine, located on NANA land, is one of the world’s largest zinc mines. Marvin started as a truck driver and assisted geologists in analyzing lead and zinc samples.
Marvin is entrepreneurial by nature. His long-term aspiration is to own and operate his own business. Marvin’s a runner, traveler, fisherman, and softball player.
We’re so proud to have a talent like Marvin on our team!
