Eric Fox
Vice President of Operations, Camp Services
Eric Fox has served as the Vice President of Operations, Camp Services Division since late 2009. As Vice President of Operations, Fox provides strategic direction and oversight for all remote camp operations for the oil, gas and mining industries.
Eric Fox began his career with NMS in 1992 as a security officer on the North Slope with NMS’ Purcell Security. Fox worked his way up the ranks working in varied positions and reaching the rank of Sergeant before transferring to NMS’ Camp Services Division in 2004. In 2004, Fox accepted an internship with the NMS Camp Services Division. Fox trained in several remote site camps learning the skills needed to move into management.
Upon completing his internship, Fox became camp manager at Milne Point. He stayed at Milne Point until 2006 when he was promoted to Operations Manager and moved to Anchorage. Eric was promoted again in 2007 to Director of Operations for the Camp Services Division, where he provided oversight for NMS operations at the Arctic Caribou Inn and the Arctic Oilfield Hotel, both in Prudhoe Bay, and operations at Red Dog Mine, the world’s largest zinc mine.
In 2008 Eric served as NMS’ Vice President of Strategic Planning and in late 2009 he was promoted to Vice President of Camp Services where he now provides strategic direction and oversight of all the division’s operations, develops new business opportunities and maintains client relationships.
Eric is a lifelong Alaskan and NANA Shareholder who grew up in Fairbanks, Kotzebue and Galena, and he graduated from Mt. Edgecombe in Sitka. Before coming to NMS Eric worked for BP’s environmental department on the North Slope. Eric is currently pursuing his degree in business at the Alaska Pacific University.
